Central Park Location - Cop Cot

Cop Cot is Scottish for "little house on the crest of a hill" and is a reproduction of  one of the original wooden shelters that were common in central park in the 1860s. Built on a rock outcropping under a canopy of trees above the park's Center Drive, this location is peaceful and secluded and a perfect venue for a wedding rain or shine. Although it is easily accessible from the road, Cop Cot offers privacy and will accommodate up to 40 people.

In order to get married in Central Park you do not need a permit, unless you have over 20 people in your party.  We do suggest getting a permit for Cop Cot even if you have less than 20 guests.  The permit is $25.  For more information on Central Park locations, ceremony information and our wedding officiant services please call us at 347-268-1331 or go to our website www.officiantnyc.com

  1. Thanks dear for sharing your wonderful experience with us. I am also searching for Las Vegas Weddings venues for my daughter’s wedding and yet we haven’t finalized it and I am also very nervous but your post gives me ideas as per my requirements and choices.
